We lost 9-14, but I am actually quite happy about it, we had some girls on our team I was quite concerned about, but we really started to put it together.
I am batting 1.000 so far, two single and one double. Two runs batted in.
I play shortstop and have one error. Didn't get my glove down enough on one play.
All in all quite happy with our performance.

WE also lost our first game.
But we were missing our shortstop, left fielder, and pitcher.
We did pretty good despite the fact that we were missing some key players.
Some bright spots.
I can still pitch. I even struck out the "softball Slut"(long story) which has made my year.
I was 2 for 3, and the out was a hard hit between left and left center. Unfortunately the left fielder had a diving catch to make the out. I'm not sure that is even legal in a old ladies league. LOL
I made it through the game without hurting my knee. I've to adjust my batting swing a little, but considering the hits I had...I think I'm adjusting OK.
The best news is I could move Sat and Sun. I'm a little sore, but not that bad.
One dark note. Since Allison broke her nose last year, she's a little shy of catching the ball. Not just that. Somewhere between 16-20, she became a "girl"
